Kim Day, Chair
President, Mercy Central Communities Sisters of Mercy Health System
Kim Day joined Sisters of Mercy Health System in February, 2000. Mr. Day was named President of Mercy Central Communities (Springfield, Arkansas and Joplin/Kansas) for Sisters of Mercy Health System in December, 2009. He previously served as President/CEO of St. John's Health System in Springfield, Missouri from September, 2005 to December, 2009 and as Executive Vice-President/Chief Financial Officer from February, 2000 to September, 2005. Prior to joining Sisters of Mercy Health System, he was affiliated with SSM Health Care in St. Louis for twenty-four years.
Mr. Day holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Rockhurst University and a master's in business administration from Central Missouri State University. Mr. Day currently serves on the following boards: Isabel's House Board, Missouri Health Connection Board, Ozarks Technical Community College Foundation Board, Springfield-Greene County Regional Health Commission Board, and Springfield Innovation Board. He is a former member of the Missouri Hospital Association Board and Springfield Symphony Board.
